  Remember the human. Be excellent. Empathy and mutual respect are at the base of any lasting relationship. Any form of harassment, violence, bullying, credible threats, bigotry, discrimination, hate speech or dehumanizing is not welcome here.   The following behaviors are NEVER tolerated and will result in you getting banned:

  • 1/A: terrorism or genocide advocacy/condoning;
  • 1/B: child pornography or revenge porn;
  • 1/C: harm against children;
  • 1/D: misogyny or violence against women;
  • 1/E: sexual harassment, non-consensual sex or catcalling;
  • 1/F: condoning rape or any behavior causing recurring trauma to others.

  The following behaviors are prohibited by default, unless the community or channel description states explicitly the opt-out, it is made inaccessible to sensible or vulnerable users, and provided that the platform ToS support such:

  • 1/G: hate speech (including known hate symbols such as swastika);
  • 1/H: violence or glorification of violence;
  • 1/I: injury threats or death threats;
  • 1/J: cancel culture or justicialism (i.e. prosecution of discrimination of people based on their past actions or criminal record, without mandate to do so and regardless of the offender having apologized, repented, and/or changed for the better);
  • 1/K: extremist or terrorist propaganda (see FAQ);
  • 1/L: LGBTQ+ hate (i.e. homophobia, transphobia, aphobia...)
  • 1/M: narcissistic abuse, male chauvinism, redpill/blackpill;
  • 1/N: racism or white nationalism;
  • 1/O: bullying or mobbing;
  • 1/P: pushing boundaries, dehumanizing, or ignoring emotions of fellow humans (see also rule 4);
  • 1/Q: religious radicalism;
  • 1/R: ableism;
  • 1/S: classism or billionaire advocacy;
  • 1/T: extreme graphic content such as gore or vore.

  The following behaviors are to be avoided, but the prohibition will not be enforced unless stated in the community or channel rules:

  • 1/U: blasphemy;
  • 1/V: bad language;
  • 1/W: negativity or nihilistic thought;
  • 1/X: closed-minded or one-way thought behavior, being not open to debate or confront with others.

  Keep it legal. Follow all applicable law (specifically, Italian and US law), and the Terms of Service of the platform. Learn more…

  Here is a list of most severe crimes in (nearly) all countries:

  • Child pornography
  • Terrorism
  • Piracy/Copyright infringement, including downloading, hosting or torrenting copyrighted content (see also rule 10)
  • Human trafficking
  • Sale of drugs and other regulated goods
  • Sale of firearms and other weapons
  • Murder
  • Turning against law enforcement such as police, including violence, threats, deceit or refusal to comply with orders or identifying oneself
  • Adultery/Rape - the former in underdeveloped countries, the latter in developed ones

  Don't turn against us. If you have trouble with us, discuss it first with the staff. Do not put us in trouble by any means, including legal actions or threats, raiding, shitstorming, false accusations, morality trolling, and any other act in bad faith against us.   The following behaviors are prohibited:

  • 3/A: legal action and/or legal threats;
  • 3/B: unfounded accusations or allegations against us or the staff;
  • 3/C: doing illegal or rule-breaking stuff (such as morality trolling) in order to blame us (see also rule 13);
  • 3/D: defamatory or libellous material, especially in our absence or outside our control;

  3/E: engaging in *raid*s, *shitstorms or any form of mass harassment, be it in name of or against us;

  • 3/F: stealing members from our communities by spamming, deceit or other means;
  • 3/G: any other act in bad faith against us.

  You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us, remember.

  Don't turn against other people. Respect other members' privacy and dignity, and make them feel safe all the time. Respect consent and boundaries, and do not engage in stalking or intimidatory conduct. Do not share personally identifiable information (PII) such as real names, credit card numbers, SSNs, phone numbers, home or work addresses, and face pics.   The following behaviors are prohibited:

  • 4/A: doxxing, i.e. sharing personally identifiable information (PII) such as real names, credit card numbers, SSNs, phone numbers, home or work addresses, and face pics;
  • 4/B: stalking or intimidatory conduct;
  • 4/C: pushing or crossing other people's boundaries, disregard the other person's feelings, continue when the other asked you to stop;
  • 4/D: triggering others on purpose (i.e. flame or trolling) or making others relive their trauma;
  • 4/E: block circumvention;
  • 4/F: unsolicited dirty or inappropriate commentary about the other's persona, appearance or body (usually also under 1/E, which is zero tolerance);
  • 4/G: non-consensual sex, flirting or sexual roleplay;
  • 4/H: unsolicited direct messages (DM);
  • 4/I: emargination;
  • 4/J: defamation or insults to other people;
  • 4/K: allegations of severe crimes without evidence or perceivable signs of trauma;
  • 4/L: use of security exploits to make other people feel unsafe (see also rule 5);
  • 4/M: use of security exploits or deceit to make other people break or appear to break the law or rules (see also rule 5);
  • 4/N: gaslighting, DARVO, victim-blaming, or manipulation against other members.

  Don't exploit our spaces. Do not attempt any form of privilege escalation or disruption, including security exploits, (D)DoS, nukes, grabbing other users, automated raids, spamming, flooding, and advertising anything (including other servers or groups) without the staff's authorization.   The following behaviors are prohibited:

  • 5/A: unsolicited advertising, unless authorized by the staff;
  • 5/B: unsolicited direct messages (DM) for any reasons, including scams, advertising or harassment;
  • 5/C: automated raids, flooding or advertising;
  • 5/D: IP grabbing or PII solicitation;
  • 5/E: phishing, gathering access to someone else's account, including via token grab links (ZERO TOLERANCE, especially if against administrative or staff accounts);
  • 5/F: collecting PII or contact information for fraudulent activities;
  • 5/G: flooding and "walls of text";
  • 5/H: mass-pinging, including use of everyone and here ping;
  • 5/I: nukes or nuke attempts;
  • 5/J: attempts to steal members and/or value from the community;
  • 5/K: security exploits in order to gain unfair advantage or cause damage to others;
  • 5/L: financial scams;
  • 5/M: psychological exploit or manipulation of other members, in bad faith against us or themselves;
  • 5/N: Denial of Service (DoS) attacks;
  • 5/O: social engineering schemes in order to gain undeserved privileges or damage us or our members;
  • 5/P: staying here for the sole purpose of gathering information for law enforcement agencies or enemies (see also rule 10).

  Stay on topic. Label appropriately any content. Mark any spoiler and content (i.e. CW) that may hurt someone else's sensibility. Keep the conversation on topic, and don't attempt to hijack the conversation or go off-topic.   The following behaviors will cause a warning by the staff, followed by moderation actions in parentheses:

  • 6/A: off-topic and thread hijacking;
  • 6/B: mislabeled content (label change or removal);
  • 6/C: unmarked spoilers or CW (removal);
  • 6/D: political content in non-political channels or servers (removal);
  • 6/E: unauthorized access to restricted channels (role removal).
  • 6/F: ambiguous statements without tone tags (if the statement possibly breaks rules, there will be a verbal warning).

  • 6/G: Access to age-restricted channels while underage (see rule 11) is strictly prohibited.

• 7

  Staff has the last words. Respect admins and moderators. They are the ones in charge of building our community and keeping it clean. It's not their job, they do it on their free time and they are not paid or rewarded for this. Therefore, be kind and respectful with them. Staff decisions are final. You may not ask for moderation permissions or server transfers. If the staff is breaking the rules and/or making you feel unsafe, report them to me. I'll take charge and hold them accountable.   It means:

  • 7/A: You may not context moderation decisions (such as warns, time-outs, restrictions and bans) once made.
  • 7/B: (Only servers with >50 people) Staff sometimes can be in the wrong. If a contestation is made, you will undergo a trial. A fellow, trusted server member (chosen by you or assigned randomly) will defend you in the trial.
  • 7/C: Higher staff oversees the lower staff; staff members who break rules or abuse privileges will be demoted and punished. Given the responsibility, punishment will be harsher than regular members.
  • 7/D: You may not ask for moderation permissions, undeserved privileges or server transfers.
  • 7/E: You may not corrupt staff members with money or other good in order to get benefits.
  • 7/F: Do not try to find loopholes in the rules or fool moderators. Rules follow common sense, and, if a rule is not present or clear enough, it will be added.
  • 7/G: Do not pose as a staff member or try to enforce rules on others ("minimodding") in order to hinder the actual staff. Report rule-breaking conduct to staff whenever applicable.
  • 7/H: Do not gain unauthorized access to staff accounts or gather staff roles via exploits. Doing this is grounds for permanent ban.

  Be yourself. You are allowed to remain pseudonymous, and use the nickname or pfp that better fits you. However, you may not impersonate other users or famous people, use blank or misleading usernames, or pretend to be a mod or admin. Do not post content you don't own without credits or attribution.   You may not:

  • 8/A: impersonate other users or famous people (satyre and parody account must be explicitly marked);
  • 8/B: use a blank or misleading nickname;
  • 8/C: have "Leader", "Master", "Mod", "Admin" or any word involving power in your nickname, without having that power in the server. Violating nicknames will be cleared;
  • 8/D: pose as a staff member;
  • 8/E: post content you don't own, without credits or attribution;
  • 8/F: send pics of other people and pass them as your own, especially with the intent of deceiving (i.e. "catfishing")
  • 8/G: lie about own age, for any reason (ZERO TOLERANCE, see also rule 11).

  Don't deceive. Keep our spaces authentic and trusted. Don't spread misinformation. Fact-check any claim, especially when sensationalistic or newsworthy, before sending or sharing it. Do not support conspiracy theories or pseudoscience. Do not tell lies in order to deceive the staff or other members. Learn more…

  You may not:

  • 9/A: send false information;
  • 9/B: send claims about sensationalistic or newsworthy events, without fact-checking them first;
  • 9/C: use sent claims (be them true or fake) as an excuse or justification to break rule 1;
  • 9/D: tell lies in order to deceive other members;
  • 9/E: attempt to manipulate vulnerable people;
  • 9/F: lie to the staff when questioned;
  • 9/G: promote conspiracy theories or pseudoscience, except in casual talk and when debunking it.

  What happens here, remains here. Except otherwise noted, anything sent in here is copyrighted. Use outside our spaces of any conversation without authorization is forbidden, including in court and to train AI models. Do not leak contents of private channels into public ones or elsewhere, or you'll lose access to our spaces as a whole. Learn more…

  In legalese, you grant us a non-exclusive, non-transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to use your message content for the purpose of displaying it to other users, and allowing them to interact with you.

  The following uses of public and private conversations sent in our space are prohibited:

  • 10/A: in court, or as evidence to back rule 3 violations;
  • 10/B: to train AI (LLM, GPT, ...) models;
  • 10/C: in a way that infringes upon applicable copyrights.

  (10/D) We take leaks of private chats (be it on public channels of ours or other media) very seriously. It is betrayal of our trust and the trust of our users, other than a crime and a breach of NDA, and it is grounds for terminating your account. (We'll close an eye ONLY when we happen to receive a valid subpoena from an accredited authority, and we are forced to comply at gunpoint or under threat of legal consequences.)

  Behave your age. Be mature, and don't engage in immature behavior or lose control of yourself. Do not gain access to age-restricted channels and spaces if you are not old enough (i.e. you can't access adult-only/NSFW channels while under 18). In behaviors where age makes a difference, state clearly your age, and get to know the age of others. Lying about own age is strictly forbidden. You may not engage in any sexual activity (including flirting, sexual roleplay and suggestive behavior) if you are under 18, the other person is not consentient, or outside adult-only spaces, in presence of any minor. You have the duty to recognize whether someone is trolling you sexually ("jailbait"), and firmly refuse to engage with such behavior. Zero tolerance for adults hitting on minors ("pedophilia").

  Be understandable. Speak, preferably, only English or the community language. Do not speak languages we can't understand and moderate. Limited discussions in other languages is allowed, as long as an accurate translation is provided along. Excessive jargon or argot (such as TikTok brainrot) is generally not allowed.

  Take accountability for your actions. Every action has a consequence. If you break the rules, expect punishment or decay of privileges. Your punishment is applied to every account you own. Once you are banned, you are banned forever. You may not use alts to get around moderation decisions or return after being banned. Learn more…

  As stated in Rule 7, warns and time-outs are final.

  At administration's discretion, you may be able to appeal your permanent ban, or pay a small fee to get unbanned. You may submit only one appeal (regardless of it being granted or denied) or pay only one unban fee every 30 days. Permanent bans may be appealed only 3 months after the issue date, or later. Permanent bans for rule 3 (putting us at risk) violations, or for breaking the law, can NEVER be appealed.

  We don't care if you get banned from the platform. Do not use modded clients for illegal purposes, invasion of privacy or ban circumvention.

  We reserve the right to ban on sight users and IP addresses we deem highly dangerous for the safety of our community. Remember: belonging to our community is a privilege, not a right.

  Keep your stuff to yourself. Do not bring unnecessary drama to our community. Do not spill your emotions or project your issues all over us. Do not engage in or ask us to engage in "wars" or feuds. We are not your army. Do not ask us to do things (be them good or bad) for you, for free. If you want us to do something, you have to pay us. And we still have the right to refuse to do it. Do not blame us for things out of our control, we are not responsible for that.

  Follow channel-specific rules. Every community and channel is free to define additional rules, and its members must abide by them, in addition to global rules and the law. Channel rules that go against global rules cannot be set. If you feel unsafe in a community, or feel like your actions and/or presence makes someone else uncomfortable, leave it. Nobody needs to belong to every community.
